KROOKED TONGUE - BLOOD SHARK . *NEW MUSIC REVIEW* *SINGLE REVIEW*

Krooked Tongue's intoxicating frenetic and gloriously punchy impassioned new single, 'Blood Shark' is out now.

Throbbing primal beats and spurring bass lines are paired with overall engulfing, vibrant energy and woven with determined, tenacious yet euphonic vocal tones that hit a harmonic frequency that perfectly combine to sumptuously resonate to the core.

Released on February 13th amidst an excited buzz, the single has already garnered deserved, rich and weighty plaudits across the board, and continues to gain momentum and grow further spirited interest on a national and international scale – and rightly so.

Adding to earlier last year's perfectly-formed gems of releases incorporating anthemic, rocking and mosh-tastic earworm highs such as 'Drugstore Cowboy' and 'Nothing Ever Grows', alongside December's exquisite, beautiful and ethereal always-on-repeat-worthy, 'I Don't Believe In Ghosts' - that have almost insatiably whet the appetite - Blood Shark is a well-matched, exuberantly welcomed top-shelf addition and beguiling pre-cursor to the band's hotly-anticipated debut album, 'I Know A Place', out April 24th on download and limited edition vinyl.

Krooked Tongue delivered an amazing triumphant Cardiff gig on Friday 30th January at Tiny Rebel Cardiff as part of a wider tour for Independent Venue Week 2026.

A jam-packed, charismatic eclectic set saw this already-stellar but-still-rising Bristol-based 3-piece (consisting of Oli Rainsford (lead vocals & bass), Harry Pritchard (drums) and Dan Smith (guitar and vocals)) showcasing prime cuts of their extensive, enticing back-catalogue from the past few years, alongside more recent electric releases such as 'Drugstore Cowboy' 'Marigold' & 'Let 'Em Loose'; and also exciting new single 'Blood Shark' - out now! (released 13th February), *** LISTEN HERE! *** , in advance of their hotly-anticipated debut album, 'I Know A Place', out April 24th.

Faultless and accomplished whilst fully energised, free-flowing and wholly captivating, this was a high-octane, engaging, fantastic show, that had every member of the assembled throng dancing and thoroughly rocking.

A gig not to be missed - and with a tour to support the April album release, scheduled in May - here's on to the band's next exciting chapters.  Definitely ones to watch!
